Privacy

This policy covers the information you send through the donation form and the contact form on hijaziwelfarefoundation.org. It is published by Hijazi Welfare Foundation, a company limited by guarantee incorporated in Pakistan (SECP Corporate Unique Identification Number 0321446). Registered office: Office No. 10, 1st Floor, Shaukat Plaza, F-6 Markaz, Islamabad, Pakistan. The foundation’s programmes are based in Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

What we collect

• Donation form: your name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone or WhatsApp number, the country you will give from and an amount you have in mind; the fund you chose, whether it is a one-off or monthly gift, and how you would like us to contact you.
• Contact messages: your name, email address, the topic and your message.
• With every form: the date and time, the page you used, your agreement to be contacted (and the wording you agreed to), and a one-way coded version of your internet address. The coded address cannot be turned back into your address; it is used only to stop repeated automated submissions.

The website does not take card payments and does not ask for your card or bank details. The foundation’s own bank account details are published on the Donate page. We will never ask for card numbers or bank passwords.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to you: to reply about a gift you tell us about and give you a reference for it, to answer your message, to match and confirm a gift once it reaches our bank account, and to keep the records that donation administration and the law require. A form submission is not treated as a donation; only money received in the bank is.

Where it is kept and who can see it

Your submission is stored in the website’s database. An email notification with your details is sent to the foundation’s authorised team mailbox so that we can reply. Only foundation staff authorised to handle enquiries and donations can see them.

Companies that provide the foundation’s services process this information on our behalf: our website hosting provider stores the website and its database, and our email provider handles the notification emails. We do not sell your details. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and to administer donations, and for any longer period that applicable law requires for financial or donation records. When they are no longer needed they are deleted or anonymised.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email info@hijaziwelfarefoundation.org or use the contact page, and tell us the email address you used. If we must keep a record of a gift, we will remove your personal details from it where the law allows.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
